Mâcon-Prissé | En Chailloux

The wine: Produced from a little-known, rather clayey terroir, it offers a surprising and quite subtle nose, with finesse and citrus notes, preceding a fine-textured palate. It is a mouth-watering wine with a lively finish. Well worth discovering.

The Terroir: A 1.32-hectare plot located on a gently sloping plateau in the village of Prissé. Deep, brown, silty-clay soils, medium to heavy in texture, with few stones.

Vinification: Pressing of sorted, healthy, whole berries, static cold settling. Long ageing for 19 months, 10% of which for 9 months in 100% French oak barrels with a very fine grain, the rest in stainless steel vats. Bottled according to the lunar calendar with low filtration.
